About Us Don Butler, a lifetime Newtown resident, as been providing quality landscaping services to local homes and businesses in the greater Newtown, Connecticut area since 1979. Homeowners and businesses are comfortable knowing that their property is cared for by the same people each time and that Don is personally on each job. Until 2001, Don was also an owner/operator of Bus #11. While he loved driving the kids safely to and from school, he wanted to focus on the landscaping business. Don and Barb married in 1994 and began working together in the Fall of 1999. Barb, joined the business after leaving her Database Administrator position with Reader's Digest in Pleasantvill, New York. On many occasions, you'll see them working side-by-side. Barb continues to manage the day to day responsibilities of the office, including website maintenance. Together, they were the first "husband and wife landscaping team" in Newtown! They truly enjoy working together and making their clients happy! Valley View Landscaping is a licensed pesticide applicator in the state of Connecticut. This is important to our clients that are concerned with their health and well-being, as well as that of their family members... including pets!
